The image above shows two types of collector units. The left side is the plate type collector filter, and the right image is the honeycomb collector filter cell. Obviously, the plate shape and the honeycomb shape refer to the inner shape of the current collector. But they are stacked one after the other into a circular barrel-like structure.
Regarding working principle, although the structure of the two collector cells is different, the working principle is basically the same. Both use voltage difference to absorb oil fume. However, the plate collector cell uses the combination of high and low voltage and ionization in the high voltage area. The low-pressure zone is adsorbed to complete the purification of oil fume, while the honeycomb electrostatic precipitator single pass is to ionize the oil fume by the electric charge generated by the cathode rod, and is adsorbed on the pipe wall of the anode to be adsorbed.

Regarding purification efficiency, the purification speed of the plate collector cell at the same wind speed is lower than that of the honeycomb. Because the voltage of the plate collector cell is lower than that of the honeycomb, the adsorption capacity is weaker. It needs to pass a certain interval, which means that the contact area needs to be increased. The width of the plate collector cell is generally wider than that of the honeycomb. According to the experimental data, the distance between the plate collector cell pole pieces is 7mm, and the thickness of the pole piece is 1mm. At the same time, the smoothness of the pole piece also has certain requirements. With all the data, we can achieve very good purification efficiency. In the honeycomb collector cell, the key factors are the diameter of the honeycomb, the voltage, and the wind speed that passes through. The wind resistance of the honeycomb is relatively larger than plate type cell. Since air flow rate is lower, honeycomb purification efficiency is slightly higher, but it is basically insensitive to users.

Regarding post-maintenance, because the honeycomb collector cell is tubular and has an excellent middle, it is difficult to clean and not easy to clean. However, the plate collector cell can basically be seen, and it can also be seen for stubborn stains. Therefore, cleaning and maintenance are relatively simple.
Regarding cost, because the structure of the honeycomb collector cell is relatively complicated, the cost will be higher than the plate collector cell, and the overall product price will also increase. For the user's choice, choose the right one according to their own budget and installation requirements. The product is just fine, not necessarily the most expensive, nor is it necessarily the cheapest.
