What Is The Difference Between A Household Electrostatic Precipitator And A Commercial Electrostatic Precipitator?

Jun 22, 2022

With the continuous development of our society,environmental protection has also become a topic of general concern in the world.There are many factors in the formation of environmental pollution,one of which is closely related to our daily life,that is oil fume.Whether we cook at home or in a restaurant outside,a lot of oil fumes are generated during the process of cooking.If we directly discharge oil fume without being treated by oil electrostatic precipitator,it will seriously pollute the atmosphere.Therefore,there is a household electrostatic precipitator at home and a commercial electrostatic precipitator for restaurants outside.Next,we will introduce the difference between commercial electrostatic precipitators and household electrostatic precipitators.

Currently,most families use range hoods.Since the amount of oil fume produced by ordinary household cooking is not very large,ordinary household oil electrostatic precipitators only have a certain air volume and limited filtering function.The emission of catering oil fume is much greater than that of household cooking fume,so the kitchen of the catering industry must use commercial cooking electrostatic precipitators.Commercial electrostatic precipitators filter oil fume through a grease filter,then adsorb oil through electrostatic action,and finally decompose oil through UV.

Notes:

1.The corresponding processing air volume of each stove is about 3000 m³/h,and the total processing air volume is determined according to the number and installation position of the stove,and the corresponding specifications and models of the electrostatic precipitator are selected.

2.Select the air volume that matches the fan.The air volume of the fan is generally less than that of the electrostatic precipitator;

3.In order to ensure fire safety and purification effect,the electrostatic precipitator should be installed at least 2 meters away from the outlet of the range hood;it is advisable to install the electrostatic precipitator at least 4 meters away from the fan.

4.Before installing the equipment,conduct a power supply test for a period of time to check whether the equipment is damaged during transportation.

5.The air inlet and outlet of the equipment can be exchanged at will, and there must be a filter in the direction of the air inlet.

6.The equipment box must be securely grounded.

7.Connect the oil drain pipe.

8.In order to ensure safety,the electrostatic precipitator needs to be able to connect with the fan,it means,the electrostatic precipitator and the fan are turned on and off at the same time;if it cannot be connected,the fan must be started first,then the electrostatic precipitator,10 minutes (especially in cold areas ,the fan should start earlier).
